The resumption of aggression by Israel on Gaza is totally unilateral and unprovoked. Just saying that the ceasefire talks have failed and therefore starting bombardment resulting in more than 400 Palestinian deaths with at least half of them being children in unexplainable. It seems to be in line with Israel’s design to eradicate the Palestinian population and take over all the territory. The fall of Syria has already freed it from its northern borders and the international community is confused about its stand especially when its position in Ukraine has been weakened by the trump administration. President trump had earlier expressed his desire to acquire Gaza for an international resort hinting at displacing its population which Israel seems to be interpreting as extermination of the nation. What is underway is in utter contempt of UN and international norms. The international bodies would become redundant without any semblance moral or physical authority While Gaza a non food growing state is under blockade for the past 17 months and even aid is not allowed annihilating the people is almost an eventuality. Even under such circumstances the determination of the people of Gaza to stay their ground over their flattened homes and dead bodies of families is unprecedented and would reflect upon the muted conscience of the world
